Cellular therapies for retinal & neurological disease

Cell Cure Neurosciences Ltd. (Cell Cure) is focused on the development of cell therapies for retinal and neural degenerative diseases. Its therapeutic cells include retinal pigmented epithelial (RPE) cells and neural progenitor cells. Both of these cells are derived from human embryonic stem cells (hESCs), the recently isolated cells capable of morphing into all the cell types of the human body...
Professors Benjamin Reubinoff, Eyal Banin and Tamir Ben Hur were co-investigators in publications and/or research in the fields of hESC derived neural cells and hESC derived RPE cells.
The company will continue its development work on neural progenitor cells intended for use in Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. The recent $7.1 million equity investment by Cell Cure’s shareholders will accelerate achievement of these goals.
